CategoryBg 1.0

Adds background images and or colors to each category in the category list. All you need to do is edit the css file and add the category name of each category and add your images in the images folder of the plugin.

I included images so you can test it and see how you like it.

You can also create a tiled view of the categories by adding this css to the plugin's catbg.css file

ul.DataList.CategoryList .Meta {
    line-height: 1.5;
    padding: 0;
    position: relative;
    margin-top: 45%;
    vertical-align: bottom;
    white-space: pre-line;
}
ul.DataList.CategoryList .ItemContent.Category a{
color:#fff;
}
 ul.DataList.CategoryList .ItemContent.Category {
margin: 0 0 0 9px;
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.6);
box-shadow: 0 ;
min-height: 236px;
margin: 0;
}

ul.DataList.CategoryList li.Item.Category {
position: relative;
white-space: pre-line;
display: inline-block;

}
.DataList.CategoryList .Item{
padding:0!important;
}

ul.DataList.CategoryList li.Item {
display: inline-block;
position: relative;
width:221.2px;
vertical-align: top;
border:2px solid #52585D;
}
.CategoryDescription{
