Can't bloomin' login for the first time!

For some reason, I am unable to login for the first time as adminstrator. I don't understand why, i must be doing something wrong - can anyone help? No matter what i try, i can't get access. I have created an email account which matches what i put it in when setting up. I have set up the database properly i'm sure... What exactly do I edit to reset the username & password to Admin/Admin? I'm new to all this, so plain simple english por favor. Thankyou.

    was it a fresh install? you could change the password in myphpadmin or just erase eveything and try a fresh install.
