Can't Use Update

Hi, I've been running Vanilla for a few months now with out major incident... well, except I finally decided to test the Update feature and got this: " Check for Updates Some problems were encountered An error occurred while attempting to retrieve information from an external data source (lussumo.com). Here is the message reported by PHP: unable to connect to lussumo.com:80 (Unknown error) " I have attempted to verify that the underlying connectivity is there (and it seems to be): " telnet lussumo.com 80 Trying 72.3.190.16... Connected to lussumo.com. Escape character is '^]'. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>501 Method Not Implemented</title> </head><body> <h1>Method Not Implemented</h1> <p>quit to /index.html not supported.<br /> </p> <hr> <address>Apache/2.0.52 (Red Hat) Server at lussumo.com Port 80</address> </body></html> Connection closed by foreign host. " Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • I'd say it's probably some sort of php configuration thang. Try asking your host if they think it should be working?
  • At the moment the update feature is fake and the server hasnt been configured yet for this function. I wouldnt worry woo much about it right now
  • Vincent - ...thanks! I thought it was something I did (well, it probably will be eventually).
