Can't Use Update

Hi, I've been running Vanilla for a few months now with out major incident... well, except I finally decided to test the Update feature and got this: " Check for Updates Some problems were encountered An error occurred while attempting to retrieve information from an external data source ( Here is the message reported by PHP: unable to connect to (Unknown error) " I have attempted to verify that the underlying connectivity is there (and it seems to be): " telnet 80 Trying Connected to Escape character is '^]'. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>501 Method Not Implemented</title> </head><body> <h1>Method Not Implemented</h1> <p>quit to /index.html not supported.<br /> </p> <hr> <address>Apache/2.0.52 (Red Hat) Server at Port 80</address> </body></html> Connection closed by foreign host. " Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd say it's probably some sort of php configuration thang. Try asking your host if they think it should be working?

At the moment the update feature is fake and the server hasnt been configured yet for this function. I wouldnt worry woo much about it right now
