When IE isn't maximized, can't see discussions

edited April 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Is anyone else having this problem? My forum works fine in Firefox, but when it's in IE and IE isn't fully maximized, the first discussion is all the way down the page (where the sidebar items end). Take a look: http://www.accountingcoach.com/accounting/ Any suggestions?

(some?) IE7 issues are suppose to be solved in vanilla 1.1. You should update the forum.
  • I believe I updated everything correctly, still the same problem.
  • Oups, it's the style you use that need an update. And also, it could be related to the ads you have.

Does that problem happen here on the community forum for you in IE?

not for me, I remember have read similar comment about this style or with the add. maybe with blizeH forum, but I am not sure.
  • I figured out what the problem was, it was an extension called "Stuff Displayer 1.2". Once I turned that off, everything was fine. Thanks for all of your suggestions.
  • There is still a problem with '1 to 30 of 42' in IE7.
  • Hmm, when i resize this thread here in the community to a certain smaller width in IE6, it does the same thing (position the posts below the end of the sidepanel). is this solved in ie7 (i didn't install ie7)? any idea where the error could be?

I'm waiting for one of the many talented css people here to come up with a solution to these ie bugs... Anyone? Anyone?
  • the vanilla forum eventually inspired me to start learning web-languages (xhtml, css aso.), but i guess this will take a good while til i'm going to be able to fix bugs ;-)
