Markdown plugin doesn't work

Hi guys,

could u pls take a look at http://www.junomay.com/vanilla/comments.php?DiscussionID=4&page=1#Item_1

look at the STARs in this post, the words between 2 STARS should be italian , right? coz i've choosed the "Format comment as Markdown" when i posted it.

but why it's still plain Text ?

i run PHP5.

    oh , i don't know wheather it's a new bug, but did u noticed that if in Markdown Format, the "http://www.junomay.com/vanilla/comments.php?DiscussionID=4&page=1#Item_1 " link don't change to <a href="">somelink<a/> , just like upstairs post. (Let me choose Text Format this time to see what happen ) [edited] oh, yes, look, in Text Format, the link change to href automatically.

    yeah thats right...in textile the links arent converted to klickable links too

    Juno, do you have "text-only mode: on" ? Because I saw all the emphasised text etc, no stars.

    oh, patrix, u r right, i do have " text-only mode: on" but new problem come: if i have "text-only mode: off", all Markdown format works, but all the http:// link don't linkable :( i think it's really a bug in BBcode and Markdown extension. hmmm, maybe not bug , just need to add some RegExp in the codes.
