Check out http://www.flux.com/ If you browse through sites that are already using flux, you'll notice how similar vanilla and flux are. Only thing vanilla seems to be lacking is making the member profiles a little better. I could see vanilla being as bad as as flux with the right add-ons. JMHO, Wayne :)
