Attachments won't upload after switching servers

HI there,

I've just swapped servers, and ported my old vanilla install to the new server.
However, I can't seem to upload attachments, even though I've changed the permissions on the uploads folder to 777 (should it be 666?), and I've changed the uploads path.

I get the error:

Some problems were encountered
Failed to upload the file: youngPeople.jpg

Can anyone help with this simple problem?

    so the upload paths are right?

    did you move the old files across

    Yeah, the path is the correct one (at least, the install created it so I assume it must be) and I did move the folders / files across afterwards.

    OK - this is getting weirder... The new folder will be created, but the attachment will not be created in the folder! And Vanilla complains: - Some problems were encountered - The requested discussion could not be found. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks, Dave
