How to automatically parse links?

edited February 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hi there! How can I make it so that links get automatically parsed? It's a pain to use <a href or other things to make it a link :(

http://some.place.com will autolink in text, but you cant shorten it to 'place' as a clickable link if thats what you were hoping to do.

Yeah it doesnt. Thats so you learn to use html and stop being lazy. You will be able to chain them together in the next revision.

I wanted the same for the BBCode formatter.. http://lussumo.com/community/comments.php?DiscussionID=1085 See that thread for the solution and you can pretty much just do that for the HTML format extension file.
