Can vanilla be use for paid subscription forum?

We want to create two forum for public view and also paid user view
can we do that with vanilla?

    can we use that for 'bank transfer' instead of paypal payment?
    so they can transfer to our bank and after confirmation we can active their account manually to have access to premium forum

    Well you do that with just roles and permissions. You simply add the role to the user, which is associated with the private categories.

    The whole point of having an online payment is to avoid doing this sort of thing manually. Why would someone want to process payments manually at all? It makes no business sense to sell goods and services which can be delivered electronically with a manual process.

    not every country have seamless credit card payment system that just works
    and people who are not used to credit card payment would prefer the manual process of bank transferring the money to the seller.

    I'm wondering if vanilla membership have the process of making sure that account is automatically degraded from premium to regular member after membership ends.
