similar to most forums out there.... icon changes, or an icon is added (such as a star) when the users post count goes up..

    I for one was very happy to see Vanilla did not cater for "ranks".

    I don't see the value of knowing someone has posted 2,355 comments.

    The Apple Support Forum have a "Did this solve your issue? yes-no" at the foot of each post which is used to rate their members.

    Something like this would be nice where ranking is based on quality comments not merely quantity.

    exactly :) keep the core of this forum the way it was intended to be and make the extensions and styles to fit the USERS preference..
