No comments Shown in Discussion Window

i have a large problem with my vanilla forum. all the comments that people post or the replys don't show up when you open up the discussion to view it. all that shows up is the fact that <username> posted something. to view the discussion you have to click on "edit" for every comment. it would be great if anyone could help.

    Is the text not present in the html source as well? What formatters are enabled? Have you edited the templates in any way?

    Formatters are the 'format comments as' thing - here its either text or html.

    I don't suppose you could show us the URL for your forum and give us a list of the extensions you have installed could you?
