extensions and role

Hello I can change roles and permissions for normal users but when i try to change them for myself (admin) i get 403 forbidden error how can i get around this? thanks matt

    403 is a Server reported error not a Vanilla one....no reason it should do it randomely though and only for changing your role..are you sure this is the case? I can edit stuff on here just fine.

    hi thanks for the reply yeah i think it may be down to a server problem however i can enable some extensions and themes while changing things for the admin is troublesome oh well anyway like i said i agree so its probably not vanilla but so strange i can edit member but not admin matt

    How very curious...Are you sure the file permissions for your conf directory are ok?

    indeed 644 for all i am quite sure

    Come to think of it roles dont even touch the files since it's all in the database...Must be some spurious server issues then..
