I don't want people to "apply" for membership, just want automatically for them to be be approved

I've looked through all of the Settings. I can't find any way to set it up so users are automatically registered. I don't want people to have to go into an approval queue just to sign up on my site. How can I do this? I tried searching on these forums, but I couldn't find the answer. :(

settings->registration settings->new member role = member not applicant.->save.

Maybe the e-mail verification helps?

Edit: Mini's proposal is much easier, of course. ;-)
