avatar size

I haven't been able to install Vanilla yet but I have a question about avatar size. I read on the forum here that you can change the maximum size of the avatars. How big can they be set for? I don't know pixels very well, but say in centimeters or inches, how big could you theoretically set them to be? Thanks guys.

    As large as you want. They'd just start to look a bit stupid. I think about 200x200 (pixels) is the largest you would possibly want them to be but it depends how your forum is designed. 200px on a 72dpi monitor (which I believe was standard though monitors are changing so much these days) would end up being about 3"
