Pink for October is a campaign that started in August of 2006 with a small group of web designers who wanted to design their web sites with a pink theme in order to bring awareness to the Breast Cancer.
“Web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research.â€

That small group quickly grew into more than 1500 people, including many non-designers. This year they’re hoping to see many more people joining in. If you have a website and you have creative control over it, consider “going pink†and posting a note about the Pink for October campaign. Help bring attention to a worthwhile cause and spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness month. It’s never been easier.
