Can members delete own comments?

Does anyone know if there is a setting that can be made so that members can delete their own comments? There is a delete comments setting but it seems to allow them to delete anybodies comments when activated. not quite what I had in mind.

    yes. there is an add on that gives you this option. http://lussumo.com/addons/index.php?PostBackAction=AddOn&AddOnID=95 you can set role permission to allow uses to remove comments and discussions. note, it will only allow discussion removal if there are no comments on it.

    If whispers are enabled, you can edit a post into a whisper to self.

    Not really the same, but to everyone else it appears the post is deleted.
