Prevent comment editing

I'm just curious. Is there a way that you can prevent members from editing their comments? I've had a few users who write comments and then days or weeks later go in and remove large chunks of their comments. As the administrator, I'd love to make it impossible to edit comments after they have been posted for a day. Any ideas?
