elgg 1.0 just out on aug 18

I thought the vanilla people here would like elgg 1.0 because it is like vanilla. It is very modularand everythign is a plugin or an extension as one would call it in vanilla. "Elgg is an open, flexible social networking engine, designed to run at the heart of any socially-aware application. Building on Elgg is easy, and because the engine handles common web application and social functionality for you, you can concentrate on developing your idea."

    Yep, its not really what i want. And many Elgg users come here to get there vanilla fixed

    Any progress on this integration?

    Unlikely to be any integration with ELGG 1 as its not quite ready yet and is unlikely to be until next year. Most ELGG users are still using ver o.9* as thats what the mods work with best.
