Wordpress + Vanilla + Mediawiki

edited August 2008 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hi there! :)

I'd like to setup a website, which's main CMS should be Wordpress and then there should be Vanilla and Mediawiki being integrated as well.
I know, that there are bridges from Vanilla to Wordpress and from Vanilla to Mediawiki.

Before i start - are there any hints or no-gos to be aware of?

And what's the best way to deal with the bridges?

Would be great to get some advice - any help appreciated! :)

Ask your self do you really need the users to sign up on wordpress, other wise there is no point in intergrating vanilla and wordpress. Not sure about Mediawiki

yes. one account for all 3 elements would be great! :)

Well you might have a problem since the Wordpress/Vanilla integration relies on Wordpress authentication. You'd be more stable if you find two that integrate based on the third.

Yep - that's what i am supposing, too... Maybe it's simply the fastest way to run a local test-installation and see what happens...
Thanks to all. I'll let you know who things are rolling! :)
