How do i remove the "Add your comments" code

I have installed the vanilla but i don't want user to comment on the discussions. How do i remove the "Add your comments" code? and what files needs to be changed? Is it a small code change or any dependencies with the code? I need help in removing this piece of code.

    Go to your forum and click Settings then on the left click Roles & Permissions then click Edit in the Member row and uncheck Add Comments.
