Read Topic Title Rights, Restrict Comment Viewing

This might sound a little strange, but I am looking for a way (addon perhaps) that would allow me to let anyone view the discussion topic/title but restrict viewing the content inside the discussion to a certain assigned role. Basically, I am trying to create something similar to what realtytrac.com and foreclosure.com use where they list restricted info on property but require a paid subscription to view the details of each property. I have spent a decent amount of time looking in the addons gallery and playing with addons like "CategoryRoles", but I just can't seem to get it to do exactly what I want. Any thoughts/suggestions would be great. Thanks

    My suggestion would be to modify 'Private Accounts' to work on a category level.

    I, or most any other developer here, can help with this if needed.

    Thanks for the idea. Can you give me like a really brief "how to". I am a web developer, but I am new to Vanilla. If you just get me started I can probably figure it out. Thanks, Nick
