Tell me about Vanilla's security?

Can I enhance it with an add-on or something else?is there anywhere in particular I to read besides searching and checking Troubleshooting, FAQs, and Bugs?

In case it helps to know, my operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium and I have Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2008.
