I can see in a number of places that dates are passed to MySQL like this: 'DateInserted' => date(DATE_ISO8601) This will return a long-form ISO8601-compliant date string, like this: 2019-07-11T05:58:16+0000 However, MySQL does not accept ISO8601 date strings. It accepts almost-8601, YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS
