My Wordpress & Vanilla 2 Setup

edited November 2009 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
Just wanted to show off an "almost ready for prime-time" setup i've been working on. Still need to fix a few weird CSS anomalies, but you can get the idea:

Vanilla2 is using the SingleSignOn plugin with Wordpress.. and I think it flows pretty seamlessly. Thoughts?

Vanilla rocks!

**still has a ~LONG~ way to go, but it's looking pretty slick so far!**

Sorry to barge in, but I think you should have used a different Wordpress theme as a starting point. If you can find a theme that lends itself to a forum integration better, than you'll save urself a lot of hassle in the long run and it'll look much better. Right now it looks kinda forced in there...

This might be a dumb question - but how do you guys implement the permalink like http://example.com/forum or http://example.com/vanilla , in your examples? Is it a page template or just in a folder?

Has anyone tried doing this with a subdomain?

Vanilla was most likely put into a directory. I don't see there being a problem with doing the same thing on a subdomain. It should all work the same.
