No discussions up in here...

New install of Vanilla 2 beta from github. I've created a couple users and several discussions successfully, but the discussions are only visible once you've logged in. The public view of the home page continues to show the "no discussions" note. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but what do I need to do to make discussions visible before you log in? TIA.

Go to your admin dashboard, to the right on the sidebar click the "Roles and Permissions" link.

Find the "Guest" users and then click edit.

Put a check next to each category you want the guests to be able to view.

This is a pain that we're aware of. Should probably even be considered a bug.
