Human friendly URL

I cant find the solution in this forum (not completely) about how to make the discussion has a humanfriendly URL.

I know rewrite module could do it. But there isnt a tutorial. Or nobody wants this feature ?

    Its built into V2/Garden I think, V1 you may need to mess around a bit (see older posts from '05 or so I think?)
