implement vanilla in open source atutor

Hi all,right now I implement LCMS using open source atutor.The question is can vanilla suitable to integrate with other system?

    Ok..in atutor itself,it already has forum inside..I want to use this vanilla forum features rather than atutor forum.but i want to remain the header and footer of atutor.So the question is how to change the header of Vanilla?
