  • A nice attachments add-on would be definitely top on my list!
Although the existing attachments-two add-on works somehow, it just offers very basic functionality.
I think it would be essential to have a settings page to restrict file-types and -size and a possibility for admins to manage uploaded files. Additionally, a resize function for images and inline-display of images would be nice (maybe utilizing overlays).
There are so many upload-scripts available (like http://www.swfupload.org or http://www.uploadify.com) that even offer easy multifile-uploads.
  • could you help me just a bit... I'm not so good at programming. so how do I implement uploadify or swfupload?
  • I think flobster was just giving examples of what could be added to addons that already have these features built in.
  • aah, now i get it. but even the Attachments Two plugin doesnt work for me. it just sticks at the page animation for uploading but doesnt upload anything
  • It's been a while since I messed around with attachments-two, but I remember creating the attachments-folder was crucial.
  • Yeah I just tried installing it on my local server and I get the same results you are getting algeeh. Looks like you may just have to wait until it's updated.
