Error with Vanilla2

I have just uploaded the Vanilla 2 file to my server and get this error:

Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found in /home/freedom6/public_html/barnegatbaynews/bulletin/lussumo-Garden-eaf4ee1/conf/config-defaults.php on line 16

You need the pdo module for mysql, as stated in the here:
