Got a buddy to "donate" me a copy of the latest version of IPB and a copy of the latest version of vBulletin. I honestly ain't trying to steal them or anything, I just wanted to try them out on my own server.
After logging into both of them, I remember why I like Vanilla so much. Everything is just so complex and overdone with both systems. Its just a huge mess of bloat and they are both stuff in the old way of doing things. I'm so glad Vanilla is doing something special.
I can't wait for Vanilla 1.0 and the new styles and plugins we'll see with its release. I think I'm gonna learn PHP just so I can be useful and make some plugins I'd like to see. * tips glass to mark and Vanilla *
