Poll extension?

Hey, I've been trying to find a tool that makes it possible to include polls in my forum's discussions, and I've searched thorought the site, and also checked Vanilla forums, but so far I haven't found an addon that makes it possible.

The Poll addon found here http://vanillaforums.org/addon/102/poll is not exactly what i want, as it can only add polls to the sidebar, not to discussions, and it looks like it is only intended for "admins creating polls for the sidebar, and users voting", but that is not what i was looking for.

    I just tried the plugin Poll 1.3, and for me it doesn't seem to be adding a poll in anywhere (V1.1.10)! I think there probably needs to be a little maintenance on this since it's not been updated since 2006. Any volunteers?

    The lack of a Poll-plugin is the only reason I don't use vanilla 2 yet.
    any news on such a addon for vanilla 2?
