Showing posts from a specific category on the homepage

I'm looking to create something similar to http://forums.grooveshark.com/ where a posts from a particular category (e.g. "Known Issues") are also displayed on the homepage.

I believe this happens in views\discussions\index.php but I'm a little fuzzy on what the code would look like.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

To simply make it the front page, in the admin panel, Routers, change the route of your DefaultController to discussions/categories/[yourCategory]

But this might not be what you want.
