Safe Mode - Some Issues
Hello, I would like to run Vanilla 2, but I am running into issues because my webhost wont allow safe mode to be turned off. Is there any ways to circumvent this? I managed to circumvent it during install, but I cant post anything because I get the following:
mkdir() [function.mkdir]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid/gid is 163794/163794 is not allowed to access /f5/advancementofsociety/public/forums/cache/HtmlPurifier owned by uid/gid 25000/25000
I tried changing the ownership of the directory to 777 but im getting 'operation not permitted' from the server.
