Highlight posts of a certain user group

edited April 2010 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
Hi,
i'd search for answers but didn't found anything about my question.

My users are divided in certain usergroups. Is there a way to change the look (e.g. backgroundcolor) of all post from a special group of users (e.g. Official Announcements from Staff)?

Thanks,
Frank

I've never done any Vanilla theming, but I would imagine it's possible to specify a class based on the group a user is a part of. So if a comment is made by a member you would have something like class="member" and if the were an admin it would say something like class="administrator"
You could then use stylesheets to style the comments differently.
