RewriteBase in .htaccess

I needed to add RewriteBase / to the top of the .htaccess file to get the nice looking urls to work. It seems this is a general problem on many platforms, since RewriteBase / isn't always specified in default apache configs on a lot of platforms, including Apple OSX. This can be fixed with a patch to include what you added in the general case, and more installs will work out the box, without breaking existing ones that do work. I'd suggest the devs patch this in permanently.

I've patched this in a fork on github. Also there's a commit after it that fixes a static route problem I noticed while trying to use the pages plugin. http://github.com/sheldon/Garden/

Im not sure if this is similar or not but when I first post a new discussion the url looks like this:

http://forum.myprizecrate.com/discussion/1/no

then when I go to click on the this post/discussion then I get this url:

http://forum.myprizecrate.com/discussion/1/no/#Item_1

whats happening here? I think i need something a bit more friendly right?

Whats the problem? The #Item_1 just is where it will jump to, for example if it were a longer thread and you had read it before the #Item_x would be bigger to jump you to where the new discussions are.
