Is there a way to disable friendly URLs?

Just put this in to config.php

$Configuration['Garden']['RewriteUrls'] = FALSE;

But it's still re-writing the URLs to friendly URLs, was wondering if there's a way to disable this please?

    Not sure what you mean? What sort of URLs would you like to see? Disabling RewriteUrls turns on index.php?[request_path] formatting, which we consider to be the 'ugly' way.

    Yeah that's what I wanted, well that's what the users on the site wanted. God knows why!

    Is there anywhere else I can change to false please Tim?

    Quick bump, is there a way I can maybe edit it out in the links or something? Can't actually see it anywhere, but I notice if you remove the thread title from the page it still works :o
