Yahoo Digest?

We use Vanilla for our forums, and have found it to be great so far. The powers that be have decided that we need to have our forums send out a daily digest in a similar format to the way that yahoo groups do it: A single email with a threaded view of the discussion for the day, with simple email-only reply capability. I've searched the forums, and this was discussed several years ago, but nothing ever seems to have come from it.

Has anyone ever found a plugin that will mimic the digest features of Yahoo groups?
