    I assume you've done as instructed with the default.php? To be honest I'd probably swap this extension for Nuggets which will do what you want and more - and should be easier to set up.

    Replace "<!-- put content here -->" with the stuff you want to appear in the sidebar.

    Sidepanel is an excellent add-on, it has always worked for me.
