    Believe it or not, that is already partially in the works! No ETA as of yet, but I would say its about 50% complete

    This rocks! It'll let me move discussions w/o allowing the user to move the back.

    It would be cool if you could set it so they could edit the text, but not edit the category.

    Sorry to draw attention to another add-on but CleverEdit allows for showing the edit link for a set period of time then hiding it. You could use that until this add-on supports it too.

    So this means users are now unable to edit their own posts? Sounds like a good option that was missing from the core, nice work. If this add-on incorporates the same feature as CleverEdit, won't that make CleverEdit redundant?

    Not exactly, because CleverEdit provides additional functionality such as appending multi-posts to the same message rather than creating a new one for each message (sorry, not a great explanation).

    But, yeah, I'd probably stop using CleverEdit if this one had a timeout.
