JQSmoothJump

Comments

  • Excellent add-on! Works a charm!
  • Hmmm... Doesn't seem to work on mine. Seems to be FireFox.

Also even in IE it doesn't work in comments, just the all discussion page.
  • Does nothing for me I'm afraid but then neither did the regular SmoothPageJump. pic

  • <grumble>__MACOSX .DS_Store</grumble>
  • <wanderer>Stupid PC Mentality...</wanderer> sidenote: I at least disabled polluting network shares with ds store files by using onyx!
  • I tried making this very extension myself, but didn't manage to squash some bugs... I'll give this a go later :)
  • I noticed if you have the JQMedia extension enabled the smooth page jumps don't come into effect for some reason. Probably a clash. JQMedia doesn't work for me at the moment with YouTube videos so I have it disabled anyway. Just something I found. :)
  • JQMedia doesn't seem to work with this extension anyways. I had both activated and the videos where not showing, once it was disabled the videos showed.

This was with JQMedia 0.5.1, not the latest version(0.5.1a or something).
  • hmmmm, they probably both use document.ready not really sure how to get round that stash? anyone?
  • you can use $(document).ready as many times as you want. multiple calls do not conflict, they all fire when the DOM is ready.
  • really? awesome, I figured the last defined one would overwrite all previous ones.
  • yep... reference: http://www.learningjquery.com/2006/09/multiple-document-ready
  • itchy's right - it's one of the big pulls for using jQuery :) I havne't got time to look into this just yet as I'm changing jobs (8 day week this week). If no one's figured it out by the time I have some time I'll take a look.
