For some reason this plugin will not show up on my latest rc version of garden. This is not the only newly installed plugin that will not show up since my last update of garden, and I suspect that it might have to do with garden rather than the plugin. Can anyone confirm that they at least see this plugin in their library?

Nevermind, it had to do with the permissions on the objects inside the plugins folder (not just the plugin folder itself)

This plugin looks for http://mysite.com/plugins/Emoticons/images/smile.gif but it should be looking for http://mysite.com/MYDIR/plugins/Emoticons/images/smile.gif

How do I fix this?

@buster That's strange, because I run my forum myself in a sub-directory and the Plugin works fine. Have you set the Parameter "WebRoot" in your config/config.php?

@oliverraduner I am getting the same issue @buster mentioned. I have looked in conf/config.php and cannot fid the WebRoot parameter to set, can you point me in the right direction?

@oliverraduner nevermind, I fixed it. I added a line under the garden config to say - $Configuration['Garden']['WebRoot'] = 'MYDIR/'; and it fixed it right up!

Just added the plugin and had the same issue but dangeross' fix worked!

@dangeross: I don't understand your question regarding the key combo sets. Can you explain, what you mean? ;-)

@Tobbes I will update the Plugin as soon as I upgraded my installation of Vanilla 2 to RC3 or even the final release.

There are some better ways to get the path to a resource (css, images) which I should use.
Unfortunately in RC2 they seem not to work, thus I cannot update the plugin at the moment.

@dangeross I tried to cover the most common textual Emoticons with the Plugin, so to minimize the need to provide a Smiley-list. I agree, that f.eg. the Ninja is a "goodie" which is not easy to figure out...
