Is this a bug or a feature?

I came across this behaviour: When entering a url like: http://www.somewebsite.nl/medias/someaudio.mp3 the /medias part in the url will be parsed as the current logged in user, i.e.: http://www.somewebsite.nl/BjornWdias/someaudio.mp3 It seems that entering a string that looks like /me is causing this strange behaviour. Is this a bug or a feature? And if it is feature how can I undo this behaviour?
