My Discussions Showing Post Count But No Posts Exist

I noticed when posting discussions Vanilla automatically puts the discussion under "My Discussions." However when I delete those discussions they are still showing the discussion count in the My Discussions tab but when clicked shows no discussions. Why isn't My Discussions emptying when those discussions are deleted?
