Single Sign-On / ProxyConnect instructions out of date

edited July 2010 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
In the current instructions for Single Sign-On integration, it says "you will need to update the "UniqueID" field in Vanilla" in the GDN_UserAuthentication table in order to make the SSO work with your application. However, there is no longer a UniqueID field in this table. We have a ForeignUserKey, ProviderKey and UserID.

Any suggestions on how to set this up to enable integration? I'm using a custom web application and can only use Vanilla 2 if I'm able to integrate my existing user base with the forums.

  • Good catch. I also found this instruction outdated. I am trying to intertrate Vanilla2 to my wordpress site with this ProxyConnect. So far, it isn't working at all.
