Ok, I'm confused. I just need a simple RSS listing of all discussions. Is this something I can do "out of the box", perhaps with a URL parameter, or calling index_rss.php , or do I need to code a custom page?

When I call index_rss.php , it appears exactly the same as index.php

I am using Vanilla 2.0.1

you can use http://twitterfeed.com/ to look for and post new threads to your twitter account at a set interval... keeps people up to date on new threads and keeps them coming back to participate.

need to take this further by allowing people to login/connect using their Twitter credentials, that way any comments they add to the discussion can then be posted back to their own twitter feed (and to their followers)
