installing my own theme

how do I load my business them into the /home/buddhafu/public_html/forum/themes folder, so I can enable it on my forum? I'm a new user so assume I know nothing!

this way "new users" can learn how to do what they need to do without wasting other peoples time lol

just upload it to the themes directory, and activate the theme from your forum's dashboard... it's just like wordpress

Your reply is insulting. If your time is so precious, why bother replying in an unhelpul way?
This 'new user' had already done what you so rudely suggested. 'new user' was unable to find the answer to the question in either of those places, which is why the question was posted. How to upload a theme to the themes folder WAS the question, so your reply tells me nothing.
Perhaps there is a more helpful person out there somewhere who doesn't mind spending a little time helping someone new learn?

To add a new theme you need to open an ftp client and go to your websites ftp site.

You then upload the folder that was inside the theme you downloaded and upload it using the ftp client into the themes folder.

Then go to the admin dashboard and click themes on the right hand side.
Then click apply on the theme you have just uploaded.
