[FileUpload Addon] Installing Plugins

edited February 2011 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
I am brand spanking new to Vanilla and I am trying to figure out how to install addons. I uploaded the file upload addon to mydomain.com/plugins and I am still not seeing any way to enable it. Can someone point me to some documentation on how to install this addon? Thanks

Why does no one help with this critical aspect of vanilla forums?

My counter question why do people new to the forum not search the board for answers and assume that because the question that is asked over and over is going to be answered, especially when it pertains to a basic understanding of what a zip file is and how to do a file transfer.

Also why do people write one-liners using this and it instead of just asking a detailed question of what they want instead of harping about something - whae 90% of the time people don't know what you are harping or carping about.

Why don't people mention the version of vanilla they are asking the question about?

In answer to your ambiguous complaint - here is a thread that may help - assuming I am reading your mind. I don;t want to have to read every comment in a thread to figure out what question you are asking. If you'ver got a question just ask it. Don't post a loaded question, if you are truly seeking help and stop dredging questions that are over a year old, it helps with nothing other than your carp, not finding a solution.

I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
