How to increase сategory name length limit?

When I create a new category with name length more than 14 characters (in Russian language) I get error message "category name is N characters too long". I need categories with more long name. How can I solve the problem?

I edited the table GDN_Category in the database. You can do it in PHP Myadmin.
The "Name" row is set to contain only 30 characters, so you can change it to 250 or else. Worked for me
