"Friends" or bookmarking users feature?

I am just wondering if there is some kind of feature that allows Vanilla-Forums user to "Friend", "Follow", or bookmarking other users?

I wrote a very very basic version of this. I have plans to expand and improve its functionality and make it more useful in the future. Hopefully this is enough for now.
