Welcome message and new themes

Hi. I have two questions. Is there some plugin to change welcome message, for unregistered users "Howdy, Stranger!
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!". Somebody know some site except that one, where i can find some free themes for vanilla forum?

As for themes, I am not personally aware of any theme sites for Vanilla yet.

To be fair the answer given appears to relate to Vanilla 1 so it's not clear how to change it in Vanilla 2 (at least not to me).
